Episode 113 - Back to Nature
Segment #1 -In Nature
Activity - Friendship Planter

Find a piece of soft bark on the ground (birch bark works well) and trim to fit the size of an old can.   Add glue to the underside of the bark and attach to the can.   Hold bark in place with a rubber band until dry.

Cut a small plantlet off of a runner from your larger spider plant. Add some water into the bark-covered can and place the plantlet into the can so the bottom of the plantlet touches the water.   When the roots are an inch long, remove water from can, fill with moist potting soil and add your plant.   Place a note on a craft stick and slide it into the can next to your plantlet.   Have fun giving your friendship planter as a gift!
