Punch two holes at the top corners of a zippered plastic sandwich bag and tie the ends of a length of twine through the holes.   The twine should be long enough for the pouch to hang over your chest.   As you collect things in the woods, drop them gently into the pouch.   By the time you reach the end of your journey you'll have a fabulous assortment of natural stuff.

At home, cut out the center of a plastic lid from a margarine or deli food container and save the round rum.   Cut the matching rim from the top of the container.   Test to make sure it snaps inside the lid rim like an embroidery hoop.   Take apart.

Place the container rim under the pouch of nature finds.   Keeping the finds in the pouch, arrange them within the circle (remove some items if you have too many or they are too large) and snap the rims together.   Clip off and discard all plastic and twine around the outside of the circle.   Poke a hole in the plastic near the rim and tie fishing line through the hole and hang in a window.
