Segment #3 -Hawaiian Barbeque
Recipe - Cooked Cabbage Slaw

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 3 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 to 1 cup julienne or chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

LET'S GET STARTED:

  • Mix together all ingredients.
  • Place ingredients into a hot pan that has been preheated on the grill.   Leave the pan on the grill and stir, for about 1 minute.
  • To Serve:
  • Arrange Pork Chops with Grilled Pineapple and Cooked Red Cabbage Slaw on a large platter.

Tips: Grow your own pineapple by planting the pineapple top in moist soil, then place in a warm sunny area. This works best in tropical climates.
