Recipe - French Omelet
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Eggs
- 1 teaspoon butter for each omelet
- Fillings may include the following combinations:
- Grated cheese, salsa, and guacamole
- Sautéed apples slices and Brie cheese
- Mushrooms, bacon and grated cheese
- Ham, cheese and tomatoes
LET'S GET STARTED:
- For two small omelets, whisk one egg in a bowl.
- Melt 1 teaspoon of butter on medium heat in an 8-10 inch skillet. Tilt pan to coat as butter melts.
- Pour 1/2 of beaten egg into the pan, and swirl it around to cover the pan. It will cook quickly.
- Add your desired filling combination to the center of the omelet.
- Remove omelet by rolling up the edge with a fork. Run fork under one side of omelet and fold. Continue rolling it up and out of the pan onto a serving plate.
