Recipe - Coconut Kabobs and Banana Boats
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Day old unsliced white bread
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can of pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 cups of sweetened shredded coconut
LET'S GET STARTED:
- Cut the bread into 1-1/2 inch cubes. Spoon the condensed milk and pineapple onto a plate. Dip the bread chunks until coated.
- Roll the coated bread and pineapple chunks in the coconut, place on a skewer kabob-style and toast over a grill or hot coals until golden brown.
Banana Boats
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bananas
- Marshmallows in small pieces
- Chocolate chips
LET'S GET STARTED:
- Cut a v-shape trench lengthwise into top of banana peel, pull back peel and remove portion of banana to create a trough.
- Put marshmallows in trough, then sprinkle chips over marshmallows.
- Replace banana peel flap, wrap in aluminum foil and place on grill or over coals until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Unwrap, remove flap and eat.
