Recipe - Coconut Kabobs and Banana Boats

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Day old unsliced white bread
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can of pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cups of sweetened shredded coconut

LET'S GET STARTED:

  1. Cut the bread into 1-1/2 inch cubes. Spoon the condensed milk and pineapple onto a plate. Dip the bread chunks until coated.
  2. Roll the coated bread and pineapple chunks in the coconut, place on a skewer kabob-style and toast over a grill or hot coals until golden brown.

Banana Boats

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bananas
  • Marshmallows in small pieces
  • Chocolate chips

LET'S GET STARTED:

  1. Cut a v-shape trench lengthwise into top of banana peel, pull back peel and remove portion of banana to create a trough.
  2. Put marshmallows in trough, then sprinkle chips over marshmallows.
  3. Replace banana peel flap, wrap in aluminum foil and place on grill or over coals until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Unwrap, remove flap and eat.
