Recipe - Seafood Symphony
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 1/2 cup small diced carrots
- 1/2 cup small diced parsnips
- 1/2 cup small diced celery
- 1/4 cup small diced yellow onion
- 3 cups clam juice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon minced applewood smoked dulse (dried seaweed)
- 1/4-1/2 cup peeled shrimp cut into strips
- 1 cup sea beans broken into 2-inch pieces (substitute: green beans)
- salt and pepper to taste
LET'S GET STARTED:
- Place the carrots, parsnips, celery and onion in pre-heated stock pot or large saucepan and stir lightly about 3 minutes.
- Add the clam juice and water and stir.
- Sprinkle the applewood smoked dulse in the pot and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Add the shrimp pieces and the sea beans or green beans and stir.
- Cook 1-2 minutes more and serve in bowls.
