Activity - Growing Potatoes in a Sack

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Sack of top soil
  • Knife or scissors
  • Potatoes

LET'S GET STARTED:

  1. Set bag flat on ground. Cut slits into top surface of bag.
  2. Shove a potato into each slit and down into the soil.
  3. Water.
  4. Watch progress as sprouts appear. Continue watering and within a few months you should have new potatoes growing right in the sack of soil!
